The people of Israel provoked God by committing the sin of idolatry. The Lord was so annoyed that He
wanted to destroy them. The Lord said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold,
it is a stiff-necked people; now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may burn
hot against them and I may consume them; but of you I will make a great
nation.”
Moses interceded for the people. "And the Lord repented of the
evil which he thought to do to his people."
Child of God, your sins may have provoked the anger of God. But as you repent, through the intercession of the saints, this same God
that forgave the Israelites, will surely forgive you. He will not allow you to
perish with the wicked. You are hereby declared free in Jesus name ~ Amen!
