Your past is over!
As the month of April has finally come to an end, so shall your troubles, your worries and even your sickness come to an end. Indeed, your past is over!
You are Moving Forward!
To
be crippled is to be stagnant, dormant and inactive. It is a state of
motionlessness. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to set the captives free and set in
motion all that are crippled by satanic influence and activities. Even after his ascension into heaven his
disciples continued with his liberation programme. A typical example is the
case in Acts 14:5-18 where the disciples healed a crippled
man. "Now
at Lystra there was a man sitting, who could not use his feet; he was a cripple
from birth, who had never walked. He listened to Paul speaking; and Paul,
looking intently at him and seeing that he had faith to be made well, said in a
loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And he sprang up and walked."
Imagine, just with a command and the yoke of stagnation was broken instantly.
Child of God, I command every yoke of stagnation in your life to break in Jesus
name! If you cannot walk from today you will start walking! That business that
is stagnant is moving forward. Your marital life is moving forward! Even your
family is moving to a higher level. You
will not remain in bondage forever. Few hours from now, I see you moving into a
new month. You are moving into the month of abundant blessings and it shall be
well with you in Jesus name - Amen!

Peace shall reign in your Church, Family & Business Centre
The conversion of Saul brought a lot peace
in the early Church, especially in the Church in Damascus. According to Acts 9:26-31
"the
Church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was built up;
and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit it
was multiplied." The moment God arrested Saul, the persecutor of the
Church, the Church started enjoying peace. The Church flourished in the fear of
the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Child of God, the Lord will soon
arrest your persecutors. Very soon you shall enjoy inner peace and peaceful
co-existence. You shall flourish in the comfort of the Holy Spirit and it shall
be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!

Jesus, the Source of our Fruitfulness
When
God created Man He wanted him to be fruitful. The Lord says, "Be fruitful
and multiply" (Genesis 1:28). Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of our
fruitfulness. In the gospel of John 15:1-8 he declares, “I am the true
vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch of mine that bears no
fruit, he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it
may bear more fruit... Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear
fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither
can you,
unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in
me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do
nothing." Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of our fruitfulness.
He is the One that makes us fruitful. We are empty without him. We can only
bear much fruits in and through our Lord Jesus Christ. To him be glory and
praise both now and forevermore - Amen!
Inspirational
Message: There
is only one source of fruitfulness. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the source of our
fruitfulness. With him we shall bear much fruit.
Prayer for
fruitfulness:
Heavenly Father, you created Man in your image and likeness. You mandated him
to fruitful and multiply. Instead of becoming fruitful man disobeyed you and
lost your friendship. Through your Son our Lord Jesus, you have restored the
source of our fruitfulness. With him, we can now bear much fruit. Lord, we have
so many barren couples in our world today and we have so many people who are
engaging in fruitless labour. Lord, make us fruitful as you are fruitful. May
we succeed in everything we lay our hands, through Christ our Lord - Amen!
THE BEST WAY TO PROVE THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
Jesus did not argue with the doubting Thomas, instead He proved to him that He is alive by showing him the holes the nails had made. He did not argue with the disciples that were on their way to Emmaus, even when he tried to explain the scriptures to them, they could not believe him until he proved to them that He was alive through the breaking of bread. When he met Paul on his way to Damascus he did not argue with him, He proved to him that He is alive by blinding his eyes.
So, no amount of argument can convince any reasonable person that a dead man later rose up from death after three days in the grave. The best and only way to prove to people that Jesus is alive is through signs and wonders.

You are an Agent of Good news
FAVOURED CHILDREN @
THE ORPHANAGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Good
news is what every reasonable human being expects all the time. Good news
makes people happy. Agents of good news are the most welcomed people on earth. In Acts 13:26-33 St. Paul declares, "We bring you the good news
that what God promised to the fathers, this he has fulfilled to us their
children by raising Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm, ‘You are
my Son, today I have begotten you.” St. Paul and his companions were agents of good news. They went about proclaiming the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Christ is the best news in the bible. This news brought revolution to the world. Child of God, the Lord shall bless you with good news. He will transform your life and the life of your family with this news of Christ' resurrection. He will
equally use you as a channel of Good news. And it shall be well with you in
Jesus name - Amen!

WHO IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN?
By Rev. Fr. John Damian Adizie of the Holy Spirit
Reflection: Acts 11:25-26 and Psalm 15
Reflection: Acts 11:25-26 and Psalm 15
- Followers of Christ were first called Christians at Antioch
- They were addressed as Christians because they were living like their Master, Jesus Christ
- Early Christians or followers of Christ were not just living like Christ they were also performing miracles like Jesus Christ, some of them even died like Christ while preaching the gospel.
- Who is a true Christian? What are the qualities of a true Christian?
- Psalm 15 declares:
- A true Christian must obey God in everything: Our Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples, "If you love me keep my commandment." (John 14:15)
- A true Christian must always do what is right: St. James wrote, "Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin" (James 4:17). In his letter to the Galatians 6:9 St. Paul also declares, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap."
- A true Christian must be truthful and sincere: Joshua told his fellow Israelite, "Now, therefore, fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and truth." (Joshua 24:14)
- A true Christian must not slander others: Our Lord Jesus Christ told his follower, "I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an account for it in the day of judgment" (Matthew 12:36)
- A true Christian does not do wrong to his or her friends: In his letter to Roman 13:10 St. Paul declares, “Love does no wrong to a neighbor."
- A true Christian does not spread rumours about his or her neighbour: The book of Exodus 23:1 declares, "You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with the wicked to act as a malicious witness."
- A true Christian despises those whom God rejects: In his first letter to the Corinthians 15:33 "Bad company ruins good morals."
- A true Christian honours those who obey the LORD: In Genesis 12:3 the Lord God assured Abraham "I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse."
- A true Christian keeps his or her promises no matter how much it cost: Our Lord Jesus Christ told his followers, “Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil” (Matthew 5:37)
- A true Christian makes loans without charging interest: In the book of Deuteronomy 23:19 the Lord declares, “You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother"
- A true Christian cannot be bribed to testify against the innocent: The Lord declares, You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous" (Deuteronomy 16:19)
With these you can imagine
how many true Christians we have in our world today. But if I may ask, dear
reader, are you a true Christian? If you are a true Christian you have nothing
to regret. Instead, it shall be well with you, in Jesus name - Amen!
By your Fruit you shall be known
By Rev. Fr. John Damian of the Holy Spirit
Action speaks louder than words. People are
known not by whom they claim to be but by the fruits they produce. The early
disciples got their title as Christians by their way and manner of life. Acts 11:19-26 states "Barnabas
went to Tarsus to look for Saul; and when he had found him, he brought him to
Antioch. For a whole year they met with the Church, and taught a large company
of people; and in Antioch the disciples were for the first time called
Christians." The term Christian simply means followers of Christ. People
of Antioch saw the early disciples living the same life of Christ they gave
them the title Christian. Child of God, as you make your bed so shall you lay
on it. The more fruitful you are the
more your identity will be defined. You will become so fruitful that all the
people around you will identify you as a true Christian; And it shall be well
with you in Jesus name - Amen!

You shall not be put to Shame!
The book of revelation 12 describes the devil as the accuser of our brethren. The devil and his agents are busy
bringing charges against children of God. But our Lord Jesus came that we may
have life in abundance (John 10:10). In Acts
11:1-18 the
circumcised Jews were bringing charges against the uncircumcised, insisting that
they must be circumcised. But Peter defended the uncircumcised. Nobody has the
right to declare unclean what God has created. When the people heard this they
were silenced. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God
has granted repentance unto life.” Child of God, the Lord will not allow
anybody to condemn you. When people bring charges against you the Lord will raise someone who will defend you. He will not allow you to be put to shame by your angry enemies. And as long as you are ready to repent the Lord will surely
forgive you. He will grant you repentance unto life and it shall be well with
you in Jesus name - Amen!

Daily Christology: Jesus, the Door of the Sheep
Reflection on Today's Gospel Reading: John 10:1-10
In the gospel of John 14:6 our Lord Jesus
Christ introduced himself as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Also in John 10:1-10
he
declares, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came
before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not heed them. I am the
door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and
find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they
may have life, and have it abundantly.”Jesus is indeed the only Way that leads
to heaven. He is the door through which we can enter into heaven. He is the
only door that leads to salvation. Through this Door we can encounter God. It
is only through him that we can gain our freedom. With him we are sure of
abundant life. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore - Amen!
Inspirational
Message:
There are so many ways; but there is only one way that leads to heaven. Jesus Christ
is the way that leads to heaven
Prayer
for Open Doors: Heavenly
Father, our Lord Jesus Christ revealed himself as the only door that leads to
heaven. He is also the door to our breakthrough, the door to our success and
indeed the door to our Salvation. Lord, you are the only One that can open the
door of our lives. Grant us financial and spiritual open doors, through Christ
our Lord - Amen!
Your Rejection will lead to your Glorification
Our Lord Jesus Christ was the most rejected
man on earth. In Acts
4:8-12
St. Peter describes him as the rejected cornerstone: "...by the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man is
standing before you well. This is the stone which was rejected by you builders,
but which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be
saved.”Human rejection does not affect divine acceptance. Instead the more we
are rejected by our fellow human beings the more we are accepted and even
promoted by the Most High God. Child of God, no matter the level of hatred,
rejection and even persecutions that may come your way, remember the Lord God
will never forsake you (Isaiah 49:15). The more they attack you the more He
will defend you and the more they try to pull you down the more He will uplift
you. Your rejection will surely lead to your glorification and it shall be well
with you in Jesus name - Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Good Shepherd
Our Lord Jesus Christ introduced himself as
the Good Shepherd. In the gospel of John
10:11-18 He told his followers,
“I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd lays down his life for
the sheep. He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are
not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches
them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for
the sheep.
I am the good shepherd; I know my own and
my own know me."
Inspiration
Message:
The Quality of a good shepherd includes: 1.Sacrifice (the good shepherd lay
down his life for the sheep) 2. Knowledge of the sheep (the good Shepherd knows
his sheep. 3. The good shepherd gathers the sheep into on sheepfold.
Prayer
for Shepherd and bishops: Lord Jesus Christ, you are indeed the Good Shepherd.
You loved your sheep so much that you laid down your life for your sheep. Lord,
we have so many shepherds in our world today, those whom you have entrusted the
care of our souls. Thank you for our Bishops! Lord, we need shepherds like you
who are willing to lay down their lives for their flock. We need shepherds like
you who know their sheep; those who are available and accessible. Grant this
through Christ our Lord - Amen!
LIBERATION OF OUR LADIES
Jesus took the girl by the hand and said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means,
“Little girl, I say to you, arise (Mark 5:41)

LIBERATION OF OUR YOUNG MEN
“Young man, I say to you, arise” (Luke 7:14)
You, young man, as you watch this footage, I declare you free in Jesus name - Amen!
Christology: Jesus, our Heavenly Bread
An earthly citizen feeds on earthly food
while a heavenly citizen can only survive with a heavenly food. What is this
heavenly food? Where and how can we get this heavenly food? One of the reasons
why our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world was to announce the coming of
God's kingdom. This kingdom cannot exist without a heavenly food. Heavenly food
is what sustains the heavenly citizens.
In the gospel of John 6:44-51 our Lord
Jesus Christ said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal
life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and
they died. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a man may eat
of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any
one eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give
for the life of the world is my flesh.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ is not just the Bread
of Life, He is also the Living Bread, the One and only Bread that came down
from heaven. He is the Bread of heaven! Whoever eats this bread will never die.
Child of God, as accept Jesus, our Heavenly Bread, the Lord God will sustain
your life and with our Lord Jesus Christ you will live forever and ever - Amen!

You are a Channel of Healing
The ability to heal is a special grace.
Many are called but few are chosen. Philip happens to be among those the Lord
endowed with healing power. In Acts
8: lb-8 he
went down to a city of Samaria, and proclaimed to them the Christ. "And
the multitudes with one accord gave heed to what was said by Philip, when they
heard him and saw the signs which he did. For unclean spirits came out of many
who were possessed, crying with a loud voice; and many who were paralysed or
lame were healed. So there was much joy in that city." Philip was indeed a channel of healing. The Lord used him and many other disciples to heal the sick. Child of God, this
same God that used Philip to heal the sick will surely use you to bring healing
to the sick ones around you. You shall become a channel of healing and it shall
be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!
Heaven shall open for you!
YOU SHALL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD
Heaven is the best place to be! It is the most glorious place anyone can imagine! In Acts
7:51-8:1
when the people heard Stephen speaking under the influence of the Holy Spirit
they were enraged...against him. But Stephen, full of the
Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at
the right hand of God; and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened” and the
Son of man standing at the right hand of God.” This is the most glorious
experience anyone can have. It is indeed an unforgettable experience. Seeing
heaven open is like experiencing God's kingdom here on earth. It is the indwelling presence of God. Child of God,
this same God that opened the gate of heaven to Stephen will open every closed
doors in your life. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!

CELEBRATION OF CHRIST: JESUS, THE BREAD OF LIFE
Reflection on Today's Gospel Reading: JOHN 6:30-35
Bread is a universal food. It is the most
affordable food in the world. The rich and the poor can easily afford a piece
of bread. When Jesus was in the world he used the image of bread, the most
stable and most affordable food to refer to himself as the Bread of Life. In
the gospel of John 6:30-35 our
Lord Jesus Christ told his followers, “I am the bread of
life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall
never thirst.”Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Bread that nourishes our lives; the
Bread that sustains our lives; the Bread that restores our lives. And indeed,
the Bread that transforms our lives. To him be glory and praise both now and
forevermore - Amen!
Inspirational
Message: Jesus
Christ is the Bread that sustains and nourishes our lives. He is indeed the Bread of life. With
him, we shall not die of hungry.
Prayer
against the spirit of Hunger: Lord Jesus Christ, you introduced yourself
as the Bread of Life and indeed when you were in the world you fed so many
hungry people with bread and fishes. Lord, we have so many hungry people in our
society today, among them are those who could not even afford their daily bread
due to the hardship in the land. Lord, as you continue to provide for the
hungry ones may your name be glorifies forever in Jesus name - Amen!

Your Sins shall be Blotted out!
As Peter was preaching in Acts 3:13-15.17-19 he told the people how God raised our Lord Jesus
Christ from death. He then instructs them, saying, "What God foretold by
the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus
fulfilled. Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted
out.” Whatever has a beginning must have an end! Child of God, you will not
remain a sinner forever. As long as our Lord Jesus Christ is concerned, and as
long as you are ready to repent and turn away from your sins, your sins will be
forgiven. God will surely blot out your sins. And it shall be well with you in
Jesus name - Amen!

Celebration of Christ: Jesus, the Long Expected Messiah
Before the coming of Christ there were so
many prophetic message pointing to his coming. His death and resurrection were
the ultimate proof that he was indeed the long expected Messiah. In the gospel
of Luke 24:35-48 Jesus reminded his
followers, “These are my words which I spoke to you, while I was still with
you, that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and
the psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he opened their minds to understand the
Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should
suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance and
forgiveness of sins should be preached in his name to all nations, beginning
from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.”With his resurrection our Lord
Jesus Christ has proved to the world that He is indeed the long expected
Messiah, the only One that can guarantee total forgiveness of sins. He is
our Saviour and our Messiah. To him be glory and praise both now and
forevermore - Amen!
Inspirational
Message: With
the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ we don't need another proof. Indeed,
Jesus Christ is the long expected Messiah.
Prayer
to our Long Expected Messiah: Lord Jesus Christ, Moses and all the Old
Testament prophets foretold of your coming. When you finally appeared, John the
Baptist introduced you as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
with your resurrection you have proved to the world that you are indeed the
Long Expected Messiah. To you be glory and praise both now and forevermore -
Amen!

You are a Chosen Vessel
Many are called but few are chosen. In Acts 6:1-7
the
Twelve summoned the body of the disciples and said, “It is not right that we
should give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. Therefore, brethren, pick
out from among you seven men of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom
we may appoint to this duty." There were so many disciples yet only seven of them were chosen as men of good repute, men full of the Spirit and of wisdom. Child
of God, the Lord will single you out among your equals. Indeed, you are a chosen vessel unto glory! You are
precious in God's sight. The Lord God has chosen you for a special mission. He has endowed
you with the spirit of wisdom and divine reputation. He will continue to use you to feed
the hungry widows and orphans and it shall be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!

You must surely Rejoice
One interesting thing about the apostles
was that they did not allow any circumstance to deprive them of their joy. They
were rejected and persecuted; yet they remained resolute and they were not even
discouraged. In Acts 5:34-42 they
were beaten up and even charged not to speak in the name of Jesus. "But they
left the presence of the council,
rejoicing that they were counted worthy to
suffer dishonour for the name. And every day in the temple and at home they did
not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ." Even with all the
beatings and charges the enemies brought against the disciples, they still had
reasons to rejoice. Child of God, will surely rejoice! No matter what you are
passing through in life, no matter the attacks and charges the enemies are
bringing against you, nothing shall take away your joy. You shall rejoice
forever in Jesus name - Amen!
Nobody can Silence You
Freedom of speech is a fundamental human
right. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be deprived of their
power of speech - to be silenced. In Acts 5:27-33 When the officers
had brought the apostles, they set them before the council. And the high priest
questioned them, saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet
here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and you intend to bring this
man’s blood upon us.” But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God
rather than men." Peter and the rest of the apostles did not allow the
high priest and the angry Jews to silence them. Instead of obeying man in doing
the wrong thing they chose to obey God. Child of God, as long as you are in
Christ Jesus, nobody can silence you. You are unstoppable! Your enemies are
just wasting their time. Your power of speech and your freedom to proclaim the Good
News is hereby restored in Jesus name -
Amen!
