Giving
is indeed a noble experience. Lucky Dube, a famous
South African reggae musician once sang, "Blessed
is the hand that giveth Than the one that taketh." Far back before Lucky Dube sang this song St.
Paul had already declared in Acts 20:35-36, "In all things I have shown
you that by so toiling one must help the weak, remembering the words of the
Lord Jesus Christ, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”’ Lucky
Dube must have been inspired by these divine words. Whether we view it from
Scriptural point of view or even from secular point, it is better to give than
to receive. A giver is the Boss! Child of God, you are born to give. As long as our Lord Jesus Christ
is concerned you will be a giver and not a borrower. You shall become a channel of blessing to your generation; and it shall be well with
you, in Jesus name - Amen!
