After the resurrection of Christ a group of
women encountered him. After worshiping him Jesus told them “Do not be afraid; go
and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” Galilee is
not just the home of our Lord Jesus Christ it is also a place of divine
encounter. It is a place set aside for encountering the risen Lord. With the
ascension of Christ into heaven and with the coming of the Holy Spirit, our
Lord Jesus Christ is no longer limited to the earthly Galilee. He is
everywhere. Child of God, with faith you can encounter the Risen Lord anywhere
you find yourself. With faith you will see him in your nation, your family and
even in your fellow human being. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name -
Amen!
