After accomplishing his
mission here on earth our Lord Jesus Christ told his followers, “Now I am going to him who sent
me; yet none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ But because I have said
these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts. Nevertheless I tell you the
truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counsellor
will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you." The Counsellor is the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ The Counsellor is the Holy Spirit. He is the Second Person of the Trinity. Through the Cousellor our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled his promise to remain with his followers forever. He is our companion and our Advocate. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore - Amen!

for Divine Companionship: Lord Jesus Christ, before ascending to your Father in
haven you promised to send us the Holy Spirit as our Companion. Lord, we cannot
do without a divine companion. Lord, release your Holy Spirit upon us may He be
our Companion all the days of our lives, in Jesus name - Amen!
