You will not remain a Prisoner forever

A prisoner is someone who is under constraint - someone whose freedom is restricted or completely denied. The worst thing that can happen any prisoner is to be abandoned in prison without any charge or any hearing. In Acts 25:13b-21 Felix abandoned Paul in the prison hoping that he will rot in jail.  When the appointed time came, Festus laid Paul’s case before Agrippa the king and Bernice, saying, “There is a man left prisoner by Felix; and when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews gave information about him, asking for sentence against him. I answered them that it was not the custom of the Romans to give up any one before the accused met the accusers face to face, and had opportunity to make his defence concerning the charge laid against him." With this, Paul was granted the long expected freedom. He was allowed to preach the gospel without any restriction. Child of God, do you know that your period of bondage is over? As long as our Lord Jesus Christ is concerned, you will not remain a prisoner forever. The Lord will surely visit your case file. He will not just allow you to defend yourself He will also set you free from every bondage and it shall be well with you in Jesus name - Amen!
