The devil is going about looking for
someone to devour. St. James offers a way out. In his letter, James 4:1-10 he offers the best way to deal with the devil. He wrote, "Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw
near to God and he will draw near to you." If you really want to deal with
the devil, the first thing you must do is to submit yourself completely to God, then you
must resist the devil. Resisting the devil means saying no to all his trials. And of course, you must make effort to
draw near to God. Child of God, if you can submit yourself to God the devil
will have no power over you. In fact, as you draw near to God, the devil will
fly away from you. He will never come near you. And you will be protected
forever in Jesus name - Amen!
